Description

Two 18th-century painted brick cottages form 27 and 29 Newnham Street. They are one storey high with attics, and have a four-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. Number 27 features a 19th-century shop front. The roofs are tiled with Old Cambridgeshire tiles, and have four flat-headed dormers. Numbers 23 to 29 (the odd numbers) form a group.
