Description

Cambria House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century and a rebuilt front wall. The front wall is constructed of gault brick in English bond, while the early 18th-century end walls are of red brick. The roof is a mansard, covered in plain tiles and featuring tumbled end parapets and gault brick stacks at each end. The house has two storeys and an attic, with three 19th-century dormers, each containing a four-pane sash window. The symmetrical front facade has three recessed sash windows, each with four panes. A central doorway features a doorcase with a moulded architrave, panelled reveals, and a flat hood supported by cut brackets. The west end wall has a plinth and a band between the storeys, with one window featuring an elliptical header arch that cuts through the band. A gault brick and slate addition is present at the rear.
