Description
Nos 4 to 7 on St Andrew's Street are late 18th century buildings with 19th century alterations. They are three storeys high and feature two windows each, with No 4 having an additional window above the carriage arch. The windows are sashes, with glazing bars on Nos 5 and 7, while No 6 has mid-19th century sashes. No 4 features mid-19th century tripartite sashes. The windows have stuccoed architraves, with backetted details on the first floor. Each building has two attic dormers and string courses at the second floor and parapet level. All have modern shopfronts. Nos 4 and 5 have a plain cornice, while Nos 6 and 7 feature modillions. The roofs are not visible except for No 7, which has a slate mansard roof.
