Description
St Andrew the Great war memorial is situated in the churchyard. It consists of a three-stepped stone base, a plinth, and a hexagonal obelisk. A wreath is depicted in relief on the front of the plinth, while the inscriptions are incised around the other sides. The memorial honors those who fell in the First World War, with the inscription reading: REMEMBER/ THE BRAVE MEN/ OF ST ANDREW/ THE GREAT/ WHO FOUGHT AND/ DIED FOR/ GOD KING AND/ COUNTRY/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914-1919/ (NAMES).
