Description
Three linked residential courts located to the south of the Central Buildings at Churchill College were built between 1961 and 1968 by Sheppard, Robson and Partners. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with concrete and varnished timber windows, featuring flat roofs covered in copper. They rise two to three storeys and have irregular facades with projecting brick bay windows at intervals, which have flat tops. Concrete bands run between the storeys and at the roof level. These courts are an integral part of the planned layout of Churchill College, designed by N. Taylor in the Cambridge New Architecture style.
