Description
Downing College features a West Gate onto Tennis Court Road, which includes short screen walls on either side. This structure, built in the early 20th century, has semi-circular wings made of grey gault brick that are connected to the main wall with stone quoins. The gate is flanked by brick piers that have stone plinths and caps, and it is adorned with wrought-iron gates that include a side wicket.
