Description

Nos 4, 4A, and 5 on King's Parade are a building dating from 1834, constructed of grey gault brick with stucco and stone dressings. It is four storeys high and features a stone cornice at the cill level of the top floor windows. The building has four windows, mostly with glazing bars, and two rainwater pipes with heads dated 1834. The first-floor windows are adorned with wrought iron balconies. The shopfronts are modern, and the interior has been significantly altered. The building has a slate roof. All the listed buildings on the east side of King's Parade form a group.
