Description
Nos 63-65 Bridge Street are 18th-century buildings with a 19th-century altered frontage. They are timber-framed, rendered, and painted, standing three storeys tall. The block has a rounded corner and features five 19th-century sash windows facing St John's Street and two facing Bridge Street, all with stucco architraves and bracketed hoods on the first floor. There is a 19th-century shopfront across the entire building. A band runs at the second-floor level, and there is a dentil cornice beneath a modern tile roof. Nos 11 to 17 and Nos 63 to 65 Bridge Street form an important group, particularly as they close off Bridge Street to the south.
