Description
Merton House is an early 19th-century building located on Queens' Road. It is two storeys high and constructed of gault brick with a slate roof. The front of the house is symmetrically designed, featuring a band between the storeys and three windows with glazing bars. The side windows have flat brick arches and jalousies. The middle window and the doorway both have semi-circular heads. Inside, there are many original fittings, including a notable staircase.
