Description
26 to 30 Northampton Street is an early 19th-century building that consists of a house and four tenements. It is two storeys high with attics, constructed from gault brick, and features a mansard tile roof. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars, and the doorways are simple in design. Number 26, known as Pythagoras House, was built around 1800 and serves as the model for the other properties, which were constructed shortly after. Number 26 retains its original staircase. This group includes numbers 1 to 19 and 21 to 30, which are all part of the same architectural ensemble.
