Description
The Blue Boar Hotel, located at No. 17 Trinity Street, is an 18th-century building that stands four storeys tall. It is constructed of painted brick and features a wood cornice with mutules beneath the parapet. The facade includes four windows with jalousies and wrought iron grilles on the first-floor windows. The hotel has a modern shop front and doorway, with many features being largely modern. There is a reproduction deep semi-circular panelled hood at the entrance. The Blue Boar Hotel is part of a group that includes Nos 9, 10, 13 to 17 (consecutive), 19 to 21 (consecutive), 23, and 24.
