16 and 16A Trinity Street is a building dated 1840, as indicated by the rainwater head and the initials InW. It is designed in the late Tudor style and constructed of brick with stone dressings. The building has four storeys and features four windows, with three on the top storey. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the first floor includes French windows with mullioned heads. The second floor has two-light mullioned sash windows, and the top floor contains casement windows. There is a band at the fourth floor level and two gables, with a slate roof that is not visible. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 9, 10, 13 to 17 (consecutive), 19 to 21 (consecutive), 23, and 24.
