Description
26 Trinity Street is a building from 1906, likely designed by Caröe, and features a heavily modified early 17th-century style. It is constructed of stone and pebble dash and presents a picturesque appearance on a corner site. The building has three storeys, plus an additional storey within a slated roof. The ground floor showcases an arcaded front, with a corner pavilion supported by arches and another pavilion above the passageway to the south. A large chimney stack, topped with tiles, is a prominent feature, alongside a gable on the return and a long, irregular window on the ground floor. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 26 to 38.
