Description
Trinity College, located at Angel Court, was built in 1833 by Charles Humfrey in the Tudor Gothic style. It has been altered over time and consists of two ranges, North and South, with the East range being part of the Great Court and remodeled to match it. The building features a low plinth, string courses, and embattled parapets, along with transomed windows and doorways with four-centred heads. The North Range was heightened to three storeys in 1953-1954 and includes large oriel windows, with a doorhead dated 1834. The South Range was extended to the southeast in 1864 using red brick and features a projecting centre bay and some three-light windows. Additionally, there is a mid-18th century staircase present.
