Description

The White Lion Public House is a late 14th century or early 15th century building that has undergone extensive alterations. It is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a modern plain tile roof, and has two storeys. Originally, the structure featured two gabled and jettied crosswings, but these have been underbuilt, with the east wing oversailing. A modern single storey extension has been added to the front. Some of the original framing can still be seen inside the building.
