Description

The black weatherboarded barn at Old Garlands Farm is a late 17th century structure featuring a timber frame and a thatched roof. It has a central hipped midstrey and is five bays long, supported by jowled main posts. The roof is constructed with a queen post design and framed side purlins. Additionally, there is curved bracing to the tie beams and wall bracing at the gable ends.
