Description

The Village Cross, dated 1904, is a notable structure located on the west side of Pegas Road in Peakirk. It is a tall octagonal pedestal featuring sides with crocketed gables and crocketed pinnacles at the corners, topped with crenellation. Above the pedestal, there is an octagonal shaft that has a gabled head and a cross. The cross stands on a stepped base, and the pedestal is marked with the initials "EJ" and the date "1904". This cross is a copy of the Helpston Cross.
