Description
No 7 and the adjoining cottages to the west, part of J R Drury, are a range of 18th-century brick cottages located on the south side of Wisbech Road in Thorney. They feature a Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends and are one storey high with an attic. The building has an eight-window range, showcasing various 19th-century sash and casement windows, along with two late 19th-century splayed bays. The central entrance is marked by pilastered doorcases with a broken pediment and a blind Gothic fanlight, while the other doorways are plain. There are eight hipped dormers, most of which have leaded panes, and brick ridge stacks are present. The structure incorporates part of J R Drury, Abbey Place.
