Description

Stanground Bridge, dated 1790, is a small brick footbridge with a round arch and a single span, located over Stanground Lode to the north of South Street. On the south side, there is a stone keyblock that displays the date 1790. The parapets of the bridge have been largely rebuilt in brick in recent times.
