Description

The building comprises eight flats, created from the conversion of a large 18th-century stable block. Originally arranged in an H-shaped plan, it encloses three sides of a courtyard. Constructed of coursed stone with ashlar dressings, the building is topped by a roof now covered in modern concrete tiles. A moulded stone eaves cornice runs along the top. The building is two storeys high. The central five bays feature a ground-floor arcade with three carriage doorways, each defined by an elliptical arch. The carriage doors retain their original stable design, featuring rectangular fanlights and two-light casements, some of which are now glazed. Ashlar stacks with cornices are also present.
