Description

Forge Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the north side of West Street in Helpston. It is constructed of coursed stone with a roof of Collyweston stone, featuring coped gable ends. The cottage has two storeys and originally had a three-window front, now with modern casement windows. A plain central doorway has a new glazed door. A brick stack is located at one end. A large, 19th-century stone lean-to has been added to the west end.
