Description

Spring Cottage is a small, two-storey stone rubble cottage dated 1811. It is situated on Peterbororough Road in Ailsworth. The cottage has a pantile roof with gabled ends. The front elevation has three windows, arranged as a 3:2:3-light pattern with glazing bars, and ground-floor windows are 3-light casements with stone flat arches featuring a triple keystone. A doorway has a similar arched head, now with a modern door. Two brick chimneys are located at the gable ends.
