Description
The Elms is a stone house dating from 1769, featuring the initials W over WF on a tablet. It has an ashlar front and a double span, steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends, stone coping, and a low parapet with a wooden cornice. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of five bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the ground floor has keyblocks above the windows. There are central glazed double doors, also adorned with a keyblock. The house includes two flat-roofed dormers and has ashlar end and off-centre ridge stacks.
