Description

Gate House is a 17th century building located on the north side of Main Street in Barnack. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. The house has a stone internal stack at the west end and consists of two storeys and an attic. The front has been extended with a catslide roof that includes modern dormers. The windows are modern casement types. Additionally, there is an 18th century wing to the west that has a lower roof line.
