Description

45-55 Dumfries Street is a mid-19th century terrace that includes a corner shop. The building is constructed from Luton grey bricks with red brick accents and features a Welsh slate roof. The first floor has eight windows, mostly original sashes with glazing bars and gauged heads. The ground floor contains six similar windows and six doorways, each with decorative surrounds of pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. The shop is double-fronted, with an entrance door located on the chamfered corner, beneath a blocked first floor window.
