Description
The rectangular garden wall, gates, and pillars located to the west of The Lodge likely date from the late 19th century or early 20th century. The wall is constructed of yellow brick and features a dentil cornice with stone capping, enclosing a small rectangular garden. It is divided into bays by Doric pilasters, which have an egg and dart frieze at the capitals. Incorporated into the wall are wrought iron panels that depict baskets of tulips. One bay on the west wall includes a trellis work panel with a central archway. The east wall has wrought iron double gates that are flanked by stone pillars.
