Description
The Manor is a house that dates from the 17th century, with extensions added in the early 19th century and some reworking in the 20th century. The original part of the house is timber framed, covered with rough cast render, and has clay tile roofs. The later section is made of brick and features hipped slate roofs. The entire house is colourwashed. The original block has a three-room plan and is two storeys high. The 19th-century addition is a two-storey L-shaped structure that extends around the south and east sides, creating a double pile building. A 20th-century addition projects to the west from the north end of the original block. The 19th-century elevations include sash windows with glazing bars and a four-panel door on the east elevation. The west elevation of the main block has 20th-century casement windows with glazing bars and a six-panel door in a moulded surround beneath a bracketed pediment. There is a red brick ridge stack with rebuilt diagonal shafts.
