Description
The gate, gate piers, and screen at Ickwell Lodge were built around 1874 by Henry Clutton for Joseph Shuttleworth. They are made of dressed limestone, with the gates crafted from wrought iron. The structure features three piers that have chamfered angles, moulded tops, and ball finials adorned with strapwork decoration. The upper part of the screen includes square-headed arcading and moulded coping. The gates showcase a variety of wrought iron decorative motifs, including quatrefoil panels at the base and finials at the top.
