Description
Fielden Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700, with 19th-century additions and alterations. It features colourwashed roughcast, likely over a timber frame in the front block, and brick in other areas. The roofs are covered with clay tiles. The original block has a five-window range, is two storeys tall with attics, and has a two-storey parallel block added to the rear in the 19th century. The front elevation, facing northwest, has four 2-light casements on the ground floor and five on the first floor. In the centre, there is a six-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight above, which has radiating glazing bars and is set within a pedimented surround. There are red brick external stacks at both gable ends.
