Description

No. 58 is a 17th-century house located on High Road in Stondon. It features a timber-framed construction with pebbledash render, although some areas have been recased in yellow brick. The house has a clay tile roof and is designed in a T-plan over two storeys.

On the south elevation, the left-hand gable and the main block each have one three-light casement window with glazing bars on both floors. The main block also has a plank door on the right-hand side. There is a rendered brick stack on the side wall of the left-hand gable and a red brick integral stack at the right end of the main block. Additionally, there is a yellow brick lean-to addition on the right gable end and a red brick outbuilding on the left.
