Description

Nutcracker Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It features colourwashed roughcast render over a timber frame and has a clay tile roof. The building has a three-room plan and is one storey high with attics. There are three windows on the ground floor and three gabled dormers in the attic, all fitted with leaded two-light casements, some of which are from the 20th century. A 20th-century doorway is located on the right-hand side. The cottage has a red brick double ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths and a red brick integral stack at the right gable end.
