Description
Nos 117, 118, and 119 on Mill Road are a row of cottages that originally formed a single house. They have origins dating back to the 17th century and were reworked in the 19th century. The cottages are constructed with a timber frame and have a colourwashed roughcast render on the exterior, topped with a clay tile roof. The building features a three-room plan and stands two storeys high. There are three casement windows on the ground floor and five on the first floor, all made of cast iron with Gothic style arched lights; some windows have one light, while most have two lights. The cottages also have three 20th-century part glazed doors. A red brick multiple ridge stack and a brick external stack are located at the right-hand gable end.
