Description
No. 41 High Street is a house that underwent early 19th-century modifications of an earlier building, likely from the 17th century. It features a colourwashed roughcast exterior over a timber frame and has a clay tile roof adorned with ridge cresting and finials. The house has a three-room layout, with one storey and attics, and includes a single-storey lean-to on the right gable end. The ground floor is fitted with four 2-light cast iron lattice casement windows. In the attic, there are three gabled dormers, also featuring lattice casements, along with ridge cresting and finials. The house has plank doors, one located on the left side and another leading to the lean-to. The lean-to aligns with a red brick double ridge stack, while there is also a red brick stack on the right gable end.
