Description

Home Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1600, with some later alterations. It features timber-framed construction, with parts rebuilt in brick, all covered in colourwashed roughcast render. The roof is made of clay tiles. The building has a T-plan layout and is two stories high. There are 20th-century casement windows, one on each floor of the main block and the right-hand gable. A 20th-century lean-to porch is located at the angle of the building. There are two integral diagonal chimney stacks on the left-hand gable end, and a rebuilt external brick stack on the side wall of the right-hand block.
