Description

The granary at Chalton Farm is a former dovecote, dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a clay tile roof. The building has a square plan and a hipped roof with gablets. A brick band runs along the first floor level. There is a door located on the south elevation, and later windows have been inserted into the west, south, and east elevations. Additionally, there is a small blocked opening on the east elevation, and the original nesting boxes have been removed.
