Description

This is a mid-18th century row of three houses built of limestone rubble. They have a gabled roof covered in old clay tiles, with three red brick chimney stacks along the ridge. Five dormers are set into the wallhead, each with roughcast cheeks and hipped tile roofs. The ground floor features five 19th-century, three-light casement windows with timber lintels. Each house has a cut bracketed doorhood. All houses except number 19 retain simple wooden doors. Later outbuildings are located at the rear. Numbers 18 to 21 form a row within a larger group of small 18th and 19th century houses which define the character of this section of Pavenham High Street.
