Description

The Thatched Cottage is a 17th century house located on the south side of Pavenham High Street. It features coursed limestone rubble construction with a thatched roof, and the eastern end of the roof is hipped. The building has one storey and attics, with the entrance front facing south, away from the road. There are two attic casements, with the thatch cut out above them; the left-hand casement has leaded lights. On the ground floor, the left side has two 3-light leaded casements, while the right side has been significantly altered with a lean-to conservatory.
