Description

This is a 17th-century house constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with later 19th-century red brick additions. The roof is covered with concrete tiles. The building faces south, away from the road. It has two storeys, with three casement windows on each floor, each featuring glazing bars. A gabled porch, dating to the 20th century, has been added. A single-story bay extends from the east end, with attics above. This bay originally served as stables with living quarters for a groom. The building is included on the list for its group value and its contribution to the character of the streetscape.
