Description

Number 23 on Saint Cuthbert's Street is a building that dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a timber frame that is faced with roughcast and has a cornice and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has three flush sash windows. There is a gabled door hood above the entrance. The roof is slate, and there is a later addition at the back that is lower in height.
