Description

The remains of a market cross, dating from the medieval period, are located in Elstow on The Green. The structure consists of a part of a stone shaft that begins as a square base and is chamfered to an octagonal cross-section above. The entire piece stands on a worn stone base and is approximately 3 feet high.
