Description

These are a group of three pairs of houses, dating from around 1840 to 1850, located at 52-62 Adelaide Square. The houses are built of stucco and are in a Neo-Tudor style. Each pair has three gables, with the right-hand house of the central pair featuring two canted bays. The houses at numbers 52 and 54 have a trellis porch. Windows at numbers 52-58 are pointed arched casements with mullions. The windows at numbers 60 and 62 are sash windows with glazing bars, and the buildings have a battlemented parapet. Numbers 46 to 62 (the even numbers) form a visually cohesive group.
