Description
The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage built around 1700, with later additions from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with colour washed rough cast rendering, while the rear wings are made of colourwashed brick. The roof is covered with old clay tiles. Originally designed with a three-bay plan, the building was extended to the west in the late 18th century, and it includes a hipped wing from the 19th century and a wing dated 1911, both of which project from the rear. The structure has two storeys. The front elevation showcases 19th-century three-light casement windows and a projecting two-storey gabled porch with bargeboards and a drop finial. The entrance features a four-panel door, with the top pair glazed, set within a moulded surround that includes reeded pilasters, capitals, a frieze, and a modillion cornice. There is a red brick external stack on the east gable end.
