Description
Parsonage House is a 17th century former vicarage that was partly raised and altered in the early 19th century, with some 20th century modifications. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble. The eastern section is a single storey with attics and features a steeply pitched roof with stone gable coping, now covered with concrete tiles. There is a datestone in the apex of the gable dated 1657, and an attic box dormer. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars, the left-hand window being a 3-light design.
The western section has been raised to two storeys, with a datestone in the gable end dated 1820. This section has stone coped gables and a shallow-pitched roof, also clad with concrete tiles. The first floor contains two modern casements, while the ground floor features two 3-light casements with glazing bars and a central 6-panel door. The western gable end includes a lean-to extension with a clay tile roof.
