Description
Manor House is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with later additions. It features a timber frame with colour washed plaster infill and an old clay tile roof, designed in a T-plan. There is a colour washed early 18th century brick extension at the rear. In 1969, the house was converted to an H-plan by adding a cross-wing and further extending the 18th century part. The building has two storeys with attics in the cross-wings. A red brick ridge stack with two diagonally-set shafts serves a back-on-back hearth. The south front windows and frames have been renewed with leaded lights, but they are likely mostly in their original positions.
