Description
Nos 17 to 20 on Vicar Street is a mid-19th century commercial building. It stands four storeys tall, constructed of red brick with blue and white decorative elements, and features modern shop fronts. The building has a dentil and arcaded eaves cornice in red, white, and blue. The window arrangement consists of five sets of four windows, each with two round-headed lights made of stone and a circular light above. The window heads are made of white and red brick, with a blue and white band at impost height. Below the sills, there are white crosses set in blue. Blue motifs are placed between the lower windows. The second and third floor windows have white projecting bands at their heads, above blue and white detailing, with the windows connected by bands at impost height. Red dentil cornices are present at the sills, along with blue and white bands featuring various patterns. The first and second floor windows have plain modern glazing.
