Description

This building is a stable located about 10 metres west of the Priest's House in Chaddesley Corbett. It dates from the early 18th century and incorporates some fragments from the 16th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The structure is built of brick with timber framing and has a tiled roof. It is a single storey with a loft door in the north gable. On the ground floor, there is an entrance to the left featuring a wooden architrave under a segmental head, which supports an 18th-century battened door. Inside, close-studded timber framing is visible on the ground floor. The building is included for its group value.
