Description

Harvington Hall Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse that was remodelled around 1700, extended in the mid-19th century, and altered in the late 20th century. The timber frame is clad in brick, resting on a sandstone plinth, with a machine tile roof. The east-facing garden front has two storeys and gables at each end, with a band delineating the ground floor and stepped brick eaves. It has six windows, mostly three-light casements; the outer windows have segmental heads, and there’s a blind window with a segmental head in the gable above. The ground floor features six windows, alternating three-light casements with segmental heads and blind windows. A roughly central entrance has a 20th-century tiled gabled canopy and a half-glazed door. The timber frame is visible internally, with close studding on the ground floor.
