Description
Bretforton House is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of rubble with a brick front that features stone dressings, topped with a machine tile roof and gable-end stacks. It stands three storeys high and includes stone quoins, a moulded stone cornice, and stone sill bands.
The facade has three windows: two Venetian windows flank a semi-circular headed window, while the second floor features 2- and 3-light casements beside a single-light casement. The central entrance is marked by a pilastered wooden doorcase with an open pediment, a fanlight, and a six flush panel door. Inside, there is an elliptical plan staircase with stick balusters.
