Description

The Wilkins tomb, located approximately 5 metres south of the south door of the Church of St Eadburgha, is an early 18th-century structure made of limestone. The headstone features a shaped top with a winged head and an inscription that is partly illegible, reading: "E ... the wife of Richard Wilkins ... 17-- aged 85". Accompanying the headstone is a footstone that has a scrolled top.
