Description

Buckland Wood House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with possible alterations from the early 20th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The windows are made up of two lights, which are rebated and chamfered, with mullions. There is one hipped attic dormer. The door, located between the second and third bays, has a chamfered surround with a canted head. The gables are coped, and the gable chimneys are topped with cyma cornices. The interior was not accessible during the survey in January 1987, but it appears to have timber-framed partition walls.
